This policy explains what information the JinYer Balance website and services collect, why, where it goes, and what choices you have.
It describes the site as it actually works. Where a practice is not yet defined, this policy says so rather than describing one that does not exist.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Name, email address, phone number and business name
- Budget range and how you heard about us
- Project brief answers: your business, what you need, your goals, your audience, what you already have, any links or references you choose to share, and any files you upload
- Referral details: your name, email, social handle and preferred payout method
- Email address, if you subscribe to the newsletter
- Support requests, including order numbers and a description of the issue
- Shipping name and address, for store orders
- Files or links you choose to send us
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, our providers receive technical information including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the page that referred you.
What we do not collect
We do not collect payment card details. Card data is handled directly by our payment processor and does not reach our systems.
2. How We Use Information
- To answer your enquiry and prepare an estimate or proposal
- To perform the services and manage your project
- To process store orders and arrange fulfilment and shipping
- To send transactional messages such as confirmations and project updates
- To send the newsletter, if you asked for it
- To protect the site against spam and automated abuse

We do not sell your personal information.
3. Who Receives Information
We share information with the service providers needed to run the site and deliver the services. They act on our instructions and for the purposes described here.
It matters when each one receives anything, so they are grouped that way.

Videos on this site are not loaded until you choose to play them. Until you press play, no request is made to YouTube or TikTok. When you do press play, that provider receives your IP address and browser information and may set its own cookies.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.
4. Cookies and Tracking
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking scripts on this site. There is no Google Analytics tag and no advertising pixel.
Our website measurement is provided by Cloudflare Web Analytics. In our testing, it recorded page views and visits without setting a cookie of its own and without using browser storage.
We keep a small first-party attribution record in your browser (localStorage) for up to 90 days to understand how visitors find JinYer Balance, such as through organic search, social media, a campaign or a referral. It does not contain your name, email, phone number or other contact information, and it is not shared with third parties for advertising. You can remove it by clearing your browser data.
Language is not stored. The English site is at the main address and the Spanish site is under /es/, so your language is part of the address you are on, not a saved preference.
Embedded videos are the exception. If you choose to play a YouTube or TikTok video, that provider may set its own cookies at that point. Until you press play, it is not contacted at all.
You can control cookies through your browser settings.
5. How Long We Keep Information
We keep information for these periods:
- Enquiries and project briefs from people who do not become clients: 24 months.
- Project and client records: 7 years after the project ends, as part of our business and accounting records.
- Files uploaded by prospects who do not become clients: 24 months. Files for actual clients: 7 years after the project ends, unless the project agreement says otherwise.
- Referral records: 3 years after the final activity or payment.
- Invoices and transaction records: 7 years.
- Store and order records: 7 years. The payment and fulfilment providers also keep their own records under their own policies.
- Business email about a client or project: 7 years, as part of that record.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed.
Beyond these periods we delete information unless there is a legal or accounting reason to keep it. You can ask us to delete what we hold at any time, and we will do so where we are not required to retain it.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold: access to systems is limited, credentials are not shared beyond what a task requires, and forms are protected against automated abuse.
No method of transmission over the internet, and no system, is perfectly secure. We cannot promise absolute security.

7. Your Choices and Requests
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you
- correct information that is wrong
- delete information we hold, where we are not required to keep it
- stop sending you the newsletter -- every newsletter also carries an unsubscribe link
Send any request through the contact form on this site. We will respond within 30 days.
Some information cannot be deleted immediately where we need it to meet a legal or accounting obligation, or where it is held by a payment or fulfilment provider under its own terms.
8. Children
This website and these services are directed to businesses and to adults. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from a child under 13.
If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Visitors Outside the United States
This website is published in English and Spanish and can be read from anywhere. The information described here is stored and processed in the United States and in the systems of the providers listed above, which operate internationally. If you are outside the United States and want to know what we hold about you, or want it deleted, contact us through the form on this site and we will handle the request the same way we handle any other.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the updated policy.
